Decent but would not recommend
I worked with James as I was relocating from Phoenix to Pittsburgh. I was very displeased with the way he spoke to me and the amount of errors that were in his emails. It made me feel as if I was not an important customer. Arpin also quoted me one price and by the time it was done the price had gone up about $2000 so be prepared for that. I packed everything myself and they put some other things in boxes (that didn't need to go in boxes) and I was told that was the extra charge? As I was unpacking boxes I realized they used a wardrobe box (one of the more expensive boxes) to pack a teddy bear. A TEDDY BEAR. Furthermore, I was not asked if they could use their own boxes or told that this would cost extra. I had extra boxes at my house ready and waiting so had I known it would cost more for them to do a TINY (maybe 3-4 small boxes) bit of packing, I would have done it myself. However, I was not notified this by the packers.
The people who packed up our items also called me INTO their truck to take a look at a broken piece on the couch. This led me to think that they did it because they did not show me the damage inside the house. It was all very unclear on what I should have done about that issue, but now I sit here with a broken wood piece on the couch that I'm sure they did.
If I were to recommend a moving company, it would not be this one. I know Allied gives you a quote and sticks with it, so try them!
