I have been trying to use Perry Dietrich for the pending medical lawsuit and surgery for the medical device I need. I worked as a steel worker for a long time, and was significantly injured on the job, which included a severe injury to my back. I am on permanent disability now from the injury. There is this medical device that would go into my spine, and is supposed to help my injury and decrease my chronic pain that I live with as a result of the injury. This device was recommended to me by more than one doctor and a surgeon. I have been trying for eighteen months to get the insurance company to cover the insertion of this device. Perry-Dietrich cannot seem to get a response from them, after almost a year and a half! I feel like I have done everything, and provided the necessary paperwork. The bottom line is, I hurt, and he does not. He does not have to live with my chronic pain. I keep in communication with Mr. Dietrich, and it's always the same response, that it's still ongoing.
Also, most the time when I call I get his receptionist. She is very nice and polite, but that seems to be as far as it goes. She says she will relay the message and give the information to Mr. Dietrich, and I am assuming she does. However, I don't hear back from him, and I don't know what is going on. I don't know if he is doing everything he possibly can to get me that device. If I could afford the surgery to get it, I would. As a result, I am still waiting for him to get approval. In the meantime, I have to live off of strong pain medicine, and am still in some amount of pain. If I had that device, I wouldn't have to live this way. I feel like it's not his pain, and he doesn't have to live this way, so he doesn't care.
