If I could give lower stars I would.
Called July 25 2025 and made an appointment to be moved on a Friday August 22 2025 at 8:00 am. The owner Chris was helpful and a price was negotiated. He then demanded that he be paid by Venmo. As I do not use the app he was able to set up a credit card acceptance link through his bank. Monies were paid in full at that time for a 3 (Minimum) hour move.
At 8:00 am the allotted time for the move I received a call from a gentleman stating that he was the employee charged with the moving task and he was not showing up due to the fact that Chris's employees had walked due to not being paid for their work and overall bad treatment by Chris. I tried contacting Chris at the phone numbers previously used with no answer. Finally I called one of the out of state numbers that was advertised on the website and Chris answered. I demanded an explanation and stated that we had a contract.
He immediately got defensive and very rude stating that I was not going to have service that day due to my attitude. The ending note of Chris along with many expletives, stating good luck getting your money back. Do not use this company! I will be contacting the BBB and have already left a message with the CT Attorney Generals office. Moving is stressful enough without having to compound issues by hiring a disreputable company. After looking at his replies to other bad reviews be assured that I an not one of his "Disgruntled " employees, only a customer that received no service for a paid contract. So there is no confusion due to the screen name, my name is Michael Cottrell.
