Pros: The guys who moved us were efficient, professional and had lovely personalities. Cons: The owner Chris, was a nightmare to deal with and I am just relieved that it worked out. At first contact on the phone he’s your best friend. After you’ve paid the deposit via Paypal, he’s AWOL. After paying I deposit, I did not hear from him- no email confirmation. This is when I was first informed that he does all of his scheduling on the web and you are welcome to view it. My name wasn’t there. More calls, more curt, dismissive answers. He plays the bully and makes you wrong, so much for beiung a valued customer. For example, I told him that hitting his link in Yelp brought me to a $@!#% site (try it), he said that I was the only person ever to report this and implied that I was a pervert. For crying out loud- this is the way to run a business? By the day of the move I was a wreck that the movers wouldn’t show up, nor did I know at what time. I had to keep calling Chris. He finally gave a time. It passed. Then another time, finally he said that there was a 3 hour window. How about one lousy email explaining the procedure? At the end of the move I passed my anger on to the movers. They said ‘get in line.’ They get this all the time and are sorry because it reflects so badly on them. Moving is stressful. There are countless movers in CT. No reason to lose sleep and take abuse, choose a different one.
