Avoid Tuesday and this place all together.

Avoid Tuesdays as the main Dr is not in. I had a terrible experience with my 11 month old 65lb Golden Retriever Daisy as I was not only recommended for unnecessary blood work but was also lead to believe that my dog was eating/consuming raw hides that we let he chew on. In reality the scans and the blood test came back negative which is a re leaf but her rush to judgement when the treatment was simply to have her fast for 24 to 48 hours and then feed her a golf ball size amount of rice and boiled ground turkey would have been a sufficient first step for Doggy Diarrhea instead of a quick money grab. What made the whole experience even worse is that she was talking right outside the door questioning all of my paperwork from MHS-Rochester which by the way is thorough and up to date and she told me everything I am feeding her is wrong and the premium dog food Costco sells is inferior to lower cost national brands. She also said that we cant let me dog chew on anything other than Kong toys. So today when I spoke to the main Dr sure he was sympathetic but did nothing to supplement the $400 we spent on a Fecal test $32, X-Ray-$158 and Blood work $210. Google is not a bad place for advice and if I would have read a little further about Doggy Diarrhea I would have found the recommendations regarding fasting and the small amount of food, because I didn't I ended up blowing money and being insulted by a Dr that only works at AAH one day a Week! Avoid Tuesdays if Possible!
