Aside from the wonderful massages by Tomas who truly has a gift, this was the worst experience I've ever had to deal with. Future customers BEWARE. I tried to do what was asked and gave notice of 30 days at the end of May to end my membership as I was moving. Not only did they refuse to email or fax the necessary form, they asked that I track down the only person that apparently would help me. On several occasions it meant driving 20 miles one way to where she happened to be working. I travel last minute about every other day for work making it almost impossible to be in the same place and time as this individual unless I wanted to drive 40 miles. It SHOULDN"T be this difficult to end a membership. I have successfully ended memberships before wihen I have moved to different areas but the management at this particular location is EXTREMELY difficult. When I finally did catch up to the right person and was able to fill out the form, I was informed that not only was my cancellation request NOT retroactive but that I would also have to pay double on my final month because I was ending it before the 12 months was up. On top of that, I received numerous substandard massages (and I tried several different ones) from several therapists at this location. I'm not that difficult to please since I have had memberships before and been extremely happy. Apparently employees - with the huge exception of Tomas - reflect their management. When you have substandard management and shady business practices it will directly reflect on what employees you have and their skill level. I put up with the horrible management for as long as I did because Tomas was just that good. Whatever you do, don't buy a membership at this club. I have a perfectly pleasurable experience at the Scottsdale Promenade location.
