American Transmission rebuilt my transmission, $2300 worth of cost, but failed to diagnose the cause of the problem. Two months later, the same symptoms reappeared. The second time, they did recognize the cause, but refused to accept responsibility for their error and would not honor their warranty. Ended up costing me an additional $500 to repair the newly rebuilt transmission, plus a week without transportation. Buyer Beware!
