I am very pleased with Cottman in Winston-Salem. They couldn't have been nicer. I was having some transmission trouble, and I went to go get the fluids flushed out. The machine to do that was broken at the first place I went to, so they recommended I go to Cottman. They gave me a coupon for a free diagnosis.

I went over to Cottman, and they checked it right then. The fluid was burnt and things were a little funny, so they couldn't flush it out. They let me know they needed to do a soft rebuild. The transmission had got too hot. It is a Chrysler Jeep, and they have been having trouble with this transmission. A lot of them have been coming in.

They rebuilt it, and after they got in they told us how bad it was. They showed us the new kit, and stayed in touch about what we wanted to do. I took it in on Tuesday evening, and it was ready on Friday. We were very pleased with the time.

They were very clear with their diagnosis and were very knowledgeable about the problems with this transmission. They were prompt to get to our car. The price was reasonable for what they did, and in fact they came in under the bid they gave us. I didn't feel like they were out to nickel and dime us. I couldn't be more pleased with their service.
