Quote was misleading but movers were great

Was charged an excessive travel fee. I asked ahead of time for clarity but was mislead into believing the charge was for time traveling in between the loading and unloading locations. I was charged that travel fee just to have them show up, costing me an extra $200 on top of the moving hours, which included the 15 drive from load to unload locations. I went back to re-read the email and still feel overcharged. The movers themselves were great and transparent about any potential of getting broken, etc. The price a bit expensive and certainly shouldn't have been charged the extra $200. I'll recommend but warn about the high price.

I am sorry for the misunderstanding concerning the travel time charge. This charge is in the GA tariff that all licensed movers in GA are required to use and covers the cost of transporting the crew to your origin address from our warehouse and back to our warehouse from your destination. We are located in Cumming. The crew drove to Buford to get to your origin and then back to our warehouse from Duluth. I am sure it took them at least an hour to do so.
We do waive the 1 hour travel fee for customers moving within our county.
I understand the frustration of paying more than you had anticipated. I will speak to the customer service person you dealt with to make sure they are explaining the travel time thoroughly.
