What The....

Totally disappointed and frustrated with this company. I had one cable come off the pulley and I noticed it was frayed some so instead of putting it back on the pulley I figured I would have it replaced. I called at 9 AM and was given a window of 11 -1 pm. Received a call at 12:45 pm saying the tech was finishing up and would be there within the hour. Ok. Two more hours passed and I had to leave for work. I gave them my wife's number as a backup. She received 4 automated phone calls between 2:38 pm and 2:48 saying if you need to talk to a representative to press 1. She pressed one and was immediately disconnected 3 times. The fourth time someone was on the other end and asked my wife to hold even though automation had called her. She waited on the line for 15 mins before the call went dead. She was at work and needed to find out when the tech would be showing up so she could meet him at the house. The fifth phone call came an hour after those automated calls and it was the tech calling saying he was at our house and no one was home. She said he would have to wait about 15 mins. for her to get home. It has now been almost 6 hours since the beginning of the window provided. When my wife arrives the tech says nothing, no apology, no explanation, nothing. He then asks her to help him lift the door up as he couldn't do it on his own. We have a typical metal double door. Tech had indicated to my wife that the other pulley cable needed to be replaced along with the two bottom brackets. She was informed after he replaced the parts. One metal bracket cost $35.00 each. You could pick these up at a local hardware store for a few bucks. Two new pulley cables will set you back $75. Each pulley cable cost $10 at H. Depot. I do understand there is some mark up on parts but this is excessive. It took the tech no more than 20 mins and the bill was for $322.00 (with a 20% off service call). On top of all of this, the invoice bill he gave us was so poorly written that he wrote 5 lines of stuff and none of it was legible. So I called O'Brien's the next day to explain my frustrations in regards to the window time given with the actual time the tech showed up and all the useless wasted time with the phones. The fact my wife needed to assist the tech with the garage door only to be fleeced on the price of the parts without even given the opportunity to decide for myself if I want them replaced, let alone pay the outrageous marked up prices as well as the subsequent labor charges ($163 for 20 mins of work). Not surprisingly, I could not speak to a manager, I had to explain what my issue was to the receptionist and she would pass it on to Ramone, the field manager. She stated he would call me later that day as he is out in the field She also stated she would get the invoice and type up what he wrote and email it to me. Predictably....Ramone, or anyone else for that matter, never called yesterday or today and I never received that follow up email. If you don't value your time, your money, enjoy grief and want to feel like an unvalued customer, I highly recommend this company.
