Totally Dissatisfied!

Made an appointment for the O'Brien tech to come out and provide a firm free estimate. Received general pricing from the call center person, who was very helpful, but without seeing the door they couldn't tell me what springs I needed. Drove 25 miles from work to meet the tech. Received a call from the tech who tells me that they don't come to homes for estimates and proceeds to give me a higher price then the call center. Called O'Brien back and they told me the tech should have come out and they would have the manager either call me or do the appointment himself. No call back received.

Jim, we do apologize for your frustration. We did give you the full quote when we first spoke with you on the phone so the technician felt that the estimate was already given. The price that he gave you when he called you was the same except that it had our initial service call fee included with it, which we waive with the repair. The price he gave you was also for two springs instead of one since he found after speaking with you that you have two. Our prices are very competitive and if you had chosen to go with it after his firm quote, he would have headed right over.
