We had an issue where we ordered a carpet
from one of their suppliers and found out a week later that that supplier was no longer offering that carpet. We had to go back in and order and look for other carpet. Unfortunately, it wasn't just that carpet. Unbeknownst, I guess, to the guys in the store, they had not pulled multiple samples out that they were no longer offering. So we had picked two others with the same company, and they ended up not being available as well. We ended up having to pick from another supplier, which, unfortunately, was good quality, just not as good of a quality as the original two that we had picked from the first company. It was disappointing that those samples were still in the store. The other disappointing thing was the length of time; it's not their fault. It's the manufacturer; the length of time it took to get the carpet was many, many weeks. We had stairs put in, and wood is slippery, and we were being careful and having to walk our dog up and down the stairs. Stairs can be slippery without a runner. They were very good at the store, keeping us involved in, you know, the time frame of when the carpet was going to get there, things like that. They did give us a little bit of a refund for the second carpet because obviously the first one wasn't available, and it was more expensive. They were honest and fair with us. A very good installer came and installed it in one day. Again, probably not their fault, but, you know, a number of the samples that we picked were not available. And from what we heard, we were not alone. It happened to a number of different stores in the Dolphin Carpet Enterprise where people had picked out certain carpets from certain manufacturers, and they turned out to not be available. It is frustrating when you have a time frame when you want something done. Overall it was a good experience but could have been better, but I don't really hold the guys at Dolphin responsible for that. I really hold the manufacturers.
