I met Dr Gaunitz about 9 months ago for an initial consultation which was very informative and helpful. I was mainly inquiring about the igrow laser helmet. I was very surprised and pleased to learn that it was very affordable compared to other laser treatments and take home products which I had looked into in Scottsdale. I was impressed at the time the Dr Gaunitz spent examining my scalp and explaining how every thing worked and how he felt I would benefit. I came back another time with more questions before I decided to make the purchase and get started and he was again very helpful and I felt no pressure whatsoever to get started or purchase anything.

In Feb. 2014 I made another appointment to get started with the program. I decided to do the at home treatment with the igrow laser and topical. Dr Gaunitz took magnified images of my scalp for comparison at a later date set for 3 months away. Included in the igrow laser kit were two topicals as well as follicle shampoo. I begin using my igrow laser twice a week as instructed and applying topicals nightly. After only about 6 weeks I begin to notice looking in the mirror that the thinning area around my crown was noticeably less scalp showing. Previously, I was using a topical scalp color to hide an obvious thinning area in my crown area that was turning into a bald spot. I would use this topical cover up when I would go out on weekends. Now after nearly 3 months, my crown area has filled in dramatically to the point that I look in the mirror and don't see any reason to apply any cover up.
Today, April 8, 2014 I returned for my 3 month check up and was very pleased to have Dr. Gaunitz show me the results microscopically and compare the images from my starting point 3 months ago. My hair shafts are getting thicker as well as additional new hair shafts coming out of follicles. But I am most happy about what I see when I look in the mirror and see now thinning spots and my friends being able to see a huge difference from a few months ago. It has been a topic with my buddies as they are having the same concerns. I am 56 and single as are my buddies and losing our hair is not an option. :)
