These "specialists" only care about money. I brought my dog here for a surgical consult because she has a cruciate ligament tear. I wanted information about all options. The first thing out of the surgeons mouth when I saw her, was to berate me for the food I have been feeding her, which has nothing to do my dog's leg. I was there for 3 hours and it cost me $700 just to get a consult. The surgeon told me she couldn't recommend anything until they ran a full blood panel to make sure she was healthy enough if surgery was warranted. After the costly blood panel, the surgeon told me that my dog's liver levels were abnormal, but she couldn't tell me why and that surgery was absolutely needed anyway. There were no other options. I will never go back here. All Michelle Nanfelt cares about is money, not your dog. I recommend going anywhere else but here. My dog is now limping worse than she was when she went in and I don't trust a word that the surgeon, Michelle Nanfelt, told me.
