We took our 14 month old GSD to the Charlotte office because he had a severe sudden onset of vomiting and diarrhea (no idea what caused it, but he could barely walk).. First, they sent us 35 miles further claiming the weakness was neuroligical. Neurologist said (at Matthews Location) that is was just dehydration. They required 75% downpayment BEFORE they would give him IV fluids to hydrate him. Then, they put in writing that they checked for possible bites. After 24 hrs and $650, we took him home. The next morning, he was displaying the same horrible weakness and we returned to the Charlotte office (who also claimd to look for bites). After another 24 hrs on IV fluids, it cost an ADDITIONAL $750 and we took him home again. The next day,our GROOMER noticed BITES where they shaved for the IV and upon further check found fire ant bites ALL OVER HIS LEGS! For $30 and 5 minutes, the GROOMER found the massive amounts of bites. But since the VET NEVER LOOKED for them, it caused an extra $750 visit for their incompetence.. THEY REFUSED to compensate for any of our $1400 expense stating that "HE MUST HAVE BEEN BITTEN AFTER WE SAW HIM" seriously???!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and diagnosis CANNOT be trusted.
