We put an offer on a house at 1658 Grotto Street North in Saint Paul, MN listed by Steven Rosnow of Edina realty. The offer was accepted pending inspection. The inspection revealed safety level problems with the home that we requested be fixed. The microwave was not working, the fridge did not have a grounded plug, the walls of the egress window were caving in, some of the stove burners and broiler on the stove did not work, and most importantly, the main basement drain covered by a cabinet had raw sewage back up in it. It was dried up but it was definitely sewage. We asked for these to be remedied and they refused so the offer was rescinded. They took the property off the market for one day and put it back in and did not fix any of the problems including stating that the sewage was just rust not sewage. I have attached pictures of the listing, his name, and the sewage. Please address the problem with this realtor and the liability you are facing if someone buys the property this way. image3.png
