We hired AHI Residential & Commercial Inspections to inspect a home we were considering for purchase. The inspector checked everything, but he did not include me during the process. I feel that I should have been more involved while he gave the inspection, but he did eventually pass along all his information, including the pictures and inspection details. Shortly after, he sent us a report and telephoned to go over the results. The price was reasonable for us, but I have heard from a friend that she received an inspection at half the price. Still, I recommend you call AHI Residential & Commercial Inspections for reliable service.

Confused about the not including you in the process. You were not present for the inspection. Your wife was at the inspection but not you. As far as the cost you ordered a home and termite inspection the rate is competitive for the size of the home, If your friend found a company that only charged 200 for both termite and home inspection, I hope she has set aside money for repairs. The cheap inspectors generally don't have the experience and knowledge to give a good inspection report. We would recommend that you are present for your next inspection.
