Found Signature on the web wanting to use a local company. Liked everything the web site said. Received NOTHING the website promised. The men that came to repair the AC showed up FOUR hours later than the four hour window they requested. They promised a 20 discount due to the late show. When they finally showed they were not even from Signature but from a company Steve passes work to when he is too busy. The quote they gave after inspecting the system was sooo far removed from what we had paid last time we needed the same repair (leak in exterior unit copper coil)that I decided to get a second opinion. They charged me $69.95 for the quote. When I asked for the 20 discount they balked, said that was only applicable if we used them for the repair. Not a bad gig! Make appointments for jobs you know you can't handle, send people out to give unreasonably high quotes, charge $70 for the visit. Example of what we experienced: They quoted $85 a pound for the R22 refrigerant AND quoted 8.6 pounds required. The company we used charged $18 per pound and installed what the system needed - 4 pounds.
