Patterson Heating & Air Conditioning really came to the rescue because we were in an emergency situation when our heating and AC unit failed during one of our big heatwaves last summer. The system was located on the roof, which kind of made our situation unique. It was old so it did need to be replaced. I was calling multiple people to try and get the situation resolved and they would come out, find out the system was on the roof and tell us they couldn't work with that and then leave. Chris Patterson's company was the only one willing to help us out, so we were lucky that we ended up liking them.

They had a team come out that was able to do the work in about two and a half days. They were able to move the gas heater into the attic and the main part of the AC is on the ground now, so everything is off the roof, which is great. Removing the old unit from the roof required a crane, and they took care of all that too. They also redid the duct work which was falling apart and causing an air quality issue, and added some more features including putting in an ionizing filter in addition to the regular filter. Then they added a whole house fan and redid the access to our attic. Now there's a pull-down door with a ladder so its really easy to get into the attic and see what's going on with the unit. They were very careful in their work. It created quite a mess but they were careful to clean up thoroughly afterwards.

The price for the service was reasonable. We have a home warranty that really helped out because we were replacing a system that was under the warranty. Working with our warranty involved a lot more paperwork on their part, but Chris was totally willing to help us out with that. We also had to finance the job so he helped guide us through that process to get the best set up for that. There was also a permitting and inspection process and they took care of that whole situation too. They were a big help with everything.
