We needed this service on an emergency call. My husband was out of town and needed to silence the chirping. The problem was solved by replacing all 9 units. We had replaced 4 units (10-year) last year and were surprised they had expiration dates. We needed the problem solved, so I approved what the tech recommended to stop the chirping and create a safe environment.
