Great job on my car. However nickel and dime operation! Apparently they need the money as they present a "final" bill with a "grand total" listed and then turn around and collect additional money from the insurance company (which rightfully belongs to the customer.) Their excuse - "did you read the fine print"?
Bad business.

Hi Dan, I'm afraid the bill may of not been explained well. The original estimate was written by the insurance company. It did not include pre and post diagnostic scanning. We are a Ford certified shop, and Ford requires pre and post diagnostic scanning. Since we are following Ford manufacturer repair procedures, the insurance company paid us for the two scans. That is why the $90.93 check was issued to us. It sounds like our estimator didn't finish and submit the supplemental (scans) paperwork until after you picked up. Sometimes we release the car before the insurance company approves the extra charge, so we don't keep the customer's car while we wait for an insurance response that often takes an extra 3-5 days. I can send you an updated bill proving the scans were completed and ensures all sensors, airbags, etc are in working order. Please call me if you would like to talk about this further.
