Over priced for 20 mins of work.
Not going to lie, I expected it not to be cheap calling a plumber but $380 for less than 20 minutes of work. Parts could not have cost more than $40 for a water bib and a small length of copper pipe, so even if the parts did cost $40 I paid over $300 for 15 to 20 minutes of work. To me that just doesn’t seem right and I know I could’ve said no when he told me the price and I probably should’ve shopped around because I’m sure I could’ve found a lot cheaper. I had a second water bib that needed to be replaced but I did not want to pay over $700 to replace two water bibs. I could have seen paying $380 for maybe two but for one, well I’m sorry I just don’t think that’s right. The workers were friendly and courteous and I don’t have anything negative to say about them. I just think your business charging people that much for that little of a job is a bit ridiculous especially when my pipes and everything were easy access, no crawling under the house nothing like that. I thought calling a local family business would be a lot more honest with their prices.
