Movers were friendly, but claims not so much!
We moved into our new built home on Aug. 6 and although the movers (3 of them) were friendly, they managed to ruined our brand new porcelain tile in the master bedroom, put a hole in the back of our leather reclining sectional and broke an brand new unopened cabinet. I understand accidents happen, but to offer $70.00 on a claim I filed and then come back with $100.00 on my rebuttal, is a complete smack in our face. The tiles in our master will need to be ripped up and re-laid, the leather recliner sectional piece will need replaced and the cabinet doors now have no glass in them. As a Company, they should take more pride in their work and comp us for the items damaged by their movers. There will be labor and new tiles that will have to be laid in the master. This is a brand new house, that we work extremely hard to build and to have items ruined is heartbreaking, but more so when they offered $70.00. That would not even cover the cabinet that I bought brand new, still in the box for our new home. I am one to always recommend companies on good services, but unfortunately, I will not be doing that this time, due to the claim offer and process. I have filed a new rebuttal letter and hope that 3 Guys Moving will do the right thing and compensate us for the damages caused!
