I had a few estimates that ranged from $300 for a new fan motor to $4400 for a new fan motor and compressor for my AC unit which was making noises.
Jason, Technician 135, came out and diagnosed the problem within a few minutes. He assured me that it was not the compressor but a bent fan blade.
He ordered the part, went to get it and was back installing it within an hour. Noise problem solved and a happy customer with a happy wallet.
