I was not impressed with Excellence Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning at all. The guy called me 5 minutes before he was due to be here and said he couldn't find my place. It is across the street from their shop. I had to stand outside while talking to him on the phone and wave to him. He ended up being 20 minutes late, which made me late going back to work. He came by himself. I was under the impression that there would be 2 guys. That way they could move the furniture out then back in once the carpet was done. Well, I had to move all the furniture outside, by myself, while the guy watched me. Unbelievable! He didn't even offer to help me. Then, I told him I needed the allergen treatment for the pet dander and he didn't know what I was talking about. He called his boss, but he didn't call back for about a half hour. My partner is allergic to cats, so we definitely needed it. Then, I have 2 coffee chairs with metal casters on them. When he was done cleaning the carpet, I asked him if I could bring them in. He told me no, that they would rust if we sat them on the carpet, because it was still wet. I asked if he could find something we could use under them so we could bring them in. He didn't offer any solutions, he just left, without a word, leaving my chairs outside. I don't think the owner really cares about how well his employees are doing. They could do a better job training. He left the carpet so wet that it took like 3 days of me putting the heaters and fans on them and leaving the windows open all day and night. I'm surprised we didn't get mold. We couldn't even walk in there without our shoes on. I don't think that it's supposed to be that wet when they are done. He should have taken more time to get the water up from the carpet. I don't think I will be recommending them.
