This was our second time using Abbey Carpets Unlimited Design Center. My first experience with them was great and that is why we opted to use them again. We had some damage to our floor and our insurance company was taking care of the replacement. We ordered wood flooring from them and they insisted that I give them a down payment of half of the flooring before the insurance paid, which was a considerable amount. I had planned on writing them a check for the remainder of the balance. They submitted my card for the remainder of the balance and did not tell me they were going to do that. That was fine except that our flooring sat at their location for over a week before they notified us that it was in. Every time I tried to reach out to them no one got back to me. They dropped the ball several times during this whole process. It just seemed to me that there were several misunderstandings that never got rectified. I really wanted them to come through for me because this is a small town and they are a local business but I can sincerely tell you that I will not be using them again.
