Took over a month to receive one window

We've installed Ultra Windows b4, but I don't understand why it took so long to receive it and have it installed. It was delivered with a screen and we thought it would be great to get a screen for the same size window next to the replacement window. I was told that they couldn't do that b/c they just make windows. That didn't make a lot of sense to me, if I rec'd a screen with my order??? It left me frustrated, and I felt as if the next step could have been made for the customer to see if they could get a second screen.

Wood windows almost always require a minimum five to six weeks for delivery. I should have done a better job of communicating this to the customer.

After completion, the customer wanted us to supply a new screen for an old window that they did not replace because they liked the screen that came with the new window. It is not possible for the window manufacturer to fit their customized screen into a older window, made by a different manufacturer. I recommended that she contact a local screen company.

Because the screen is made to mount specifically into the new window, it is not possible to get a screen made by the window manufacturer, to fit a window that they did not build.
