Over charged and had attitude
After reading such rave reviews I made an appointment and I had Cara as my stylist. I asked for three-dimensional color. I showed pictures and she said no I could have that, then I showed her the haircut and she said no she didn't want to cut the highlights out. so I asked for a partial chunky highlights that were not blond and not a lot just a little because I have dark hair and she made me super heavy light light light coppery blonde on my yellow skin which made my skin look washed out and when I didn't like it she gave me attitude. I ask her to use a deeper copper so I wouldn't look so washed out. She then put a different toner on it and charged me for her mistake. It was a bright copper so I went in there with brown hair that I wanted more dimension in and left there more less a redhead with very little dimension. the worst part was that she charged me $200 for a partial foil something that should have cost me at best a hundred $125-150 with the cut. I hate it It looks fake and so I called her the next day told her I was unhappy and again she gave me attitude. I still made an appointment and decided not to keep it first because I had a raging migraine and second because I did not have confidence that she would give me what I wanted and I was afraid she would charge me again. I am a retired hairdresser of 30 years who worked on design teams and was a color educator. I can tell you what I asked for was not difficult. When I was in the bowl getting the darker red I asked her if she could take a few pieces out so I could at least have 3 different colors and she put her hand on her hip and said " Well I will have to foil you again" in a tone that said she didn't want to . I do not recommend this salon or Cara. Make an appointment at your own risk and make sure you bring plenty of money.
