We didn't think a pool could sit in our backyard until we had somebody come out and take a look. It wasn't really a possibility until this year when we took a shot to see if it was possible. We did some research online and asked our friends. And we had a friend in my son's school that had purchased an Anthony & Sylvan pool and was happy with the instruction and quality. So, we decided to go with them too. We got the free-form type with waterfall and a bonded theme on the left side since we have a $@!#% in the backyard. So, it's a two-tier pool where the elevation changes where we go down. It's higher on the one side so, I have a large wall on one side of my pool. That's where the waterfall comes into the pool. And it's also great for jumping into the pool.

I like its design. I had another pool company come out and their rep came with some high recommendations and designed the pool. I also had an Anthony & Sylvan rep come out and I liked their design a lot better. We were restricted on our backyard and their pool just sits perfectly in there. Their scheduling team was great. However, it took a little while for the actual construction start due to township restrictions and interactions with them but once we have started, everything moved well. Communication was good between the scheduling team and myself. In fact, when there was the coping step, an opening popped up and scheduled someone and canceled. So, they called me immediately and we had him come over and we're able to complete that step a week faster than we thought we are going to.

As far as the project manager goes, the interaction with him was good and communication was constant. He even recommended a landscaper when I needed some landscaping assistance outside of the scope of what the contract was calling for when I needed to move boulders into the back side of the pool. He worked with them to get the right pricing and the right time to complete the job in conjunction with their completion of the pool. We opened right before Labor Day so I did not get the opportunity to have a full summer with the pool, but I'm looking forward to coming home and jumping in on hot days.
