Josh and Chris gave me my car back
I took my car to Apex with a "Check Engine" light problem. A local dealer had failed to remedy the problem and because of this and other issues I had lost confidence in that dealer and a lost a lot of the joy of driving my car.
I took the car to Apex. They listened to me and actually road tested the car as a first step in their diagnostic process! This, in my experience, is a first. Dealers simply follow the factory authorized repair but Apex were more analytical. They identified a possible cause, confirmed their diagnosis, remedied the problem and repeated the road test.
What a difference. My old car is back and I love to drive it again. All aspects of my experience were impressive: the initial talk with Chris, the waiting area, the availability of a ride home, the ongoing communication, the final description and explanation of the charges and the quality of the work done. Oh yes, they also washed and vacuumed the car.
It is early days, the problem may return but I doubt it and based on this my first experience, if the problem does return I am sure that Apex will deal with it.
