Tried to overcharge me! Will never use again!
I had two air conditioning units that were acting up so I called Alaskan Air Conditioning & Heating to come out and look at them. The problem was that they both needed new capacitors. Alaskan tried to charge me $900 to replace the capacitors. These parts only cost about $15 each, and they are pretty easy to install - you just screw them in. If they had wanted to charge me $200, then I would have had them go ahead and do it, but $900? I got one of my neighbors who is in that line of business to help me. We got up on the roof and spent less than 30 minutes to replace both of them. It was more of a maintenance task, than a repair job. The price? I bought the parts, and I grilled my neighbor some hamburgers! I will never use Alaskan Air Conditioning & Heating again!
