They cancelled my appointment less than an hour before my scheduled appointment time

I called Done Plumbing and Heating on Wednesday to schedule an appointment on Saturday. The girl on the phone for this call was very pleasant and easy to speak with. I asked her if they provided service in Franktown, to which she replied 'yes' but there is a $40 estimate fee'. We both agreed on that and she scheduled for a plumber to come to our house on Saturday between 10 AM and noon. Saturday morning around 9:15 I received a call from a girl who said that the company 'no longer services Franktown and that this is a new policy. I told her that we need someone out here today as we are on a schedule to accommodate other professionals who are also providing services at our home. I asked if I could pay a mileage fee to get the services completed today. She replied no and offered no assistance. I called back later to explain that I was upset and asked if there was anything they could do to make up for the inconvenience and find any way to make-up for their mistake and was offered nothing - not even an apology. I would not recommend this company to anyone due to their terrible customer service and lack of apology.

Chris, I sincerely apologize for the cancellation and feel your frustration is completely justified. We recently had to change our service area slightly, and this was not well communicated to you (either during the scheduling of the appointment or the cancellation call). I have sat down with both representatives and we listened to their respective calls with you and gave feedback on how they could have handled the situation better. We have also made a change in our system to better identify when an address is outside of our service area. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience we caused and as I said on my voicemail if you'd like to discuss further please feel free to call our office back.
