Our Service rep was very good and very professional

We have had Done due several repairs for us in the past. Your service reps are a great ambassador for your company. However, the repair we had for our sump pump we feel was way more than what it should have been. Total cost for the new pump was $632. I checked at Home Depot and their most expensive 3/4-1/2 HP pump were $189, and the pump that you used was only 1/4 HP. Even with the labor, what is the disconnect? After knowing now the price of sump pumps, I would never have had you replace ours, we feel we were taken. Too bad, because we always have been so happy with your service, but not again. We also asked for a bid on putting in two new outside water facets, the bid was over $500, I don't think so.

Robert, thank you for your feedback. We will be sure to review it with our management staff. We always present pricing in writing and get an approval signature before starting any work so our customers can make informed decisions. We also use an invoicing system on iPads so all customers receive the same pricing for the same work. We are a flat rate company and must consider all elements of the job when pricing our work. This includes additional parts not included with the pump itself (piping, connectors, etc.), the estimated time of work (pricing does not increase if the job takes longer than expected, or longer for one technician than another), legally required licenses, insurance (medical, property, vehicle), gas, equipment, office staff, marketing, and other overhead associated with our business. We do appreciate the opportunity to service you, and hope you can appreciate the professional service you received (which I assume you do with your high rating of our work). Your work also come with a parts and labor warranty, so you can rest assured that the work was done correctly. Again, thank you for your feedback.
