The work that we performed on the sewer line was completed on 7/7/2014. No other service was performed at this property since that date, and there was no concern of sprinkler damage for the remainder of the summer. As soon as this customer called to let us know that they had a sprinkler line issue on 5/16/15 (over 10 months later) our lead sewer line technician and excavation lead went to the property to address the issue. Upon investigation, the damaged sprinkler line was found to be 5 feet from the area that we repaired in 2014. Upon further discussion, the homeowner (Larry) and a neighbor (Pat) admitted to have been digging in the area where the damaged sprinkler line was. Further, the homeowner signed an invoice stating "Done Plumbing and Heatings dig crew arrived on site to assess with homeowner sprinker system leak. Dig crew found the sprinkler line was damaged when homeowner and neighbor made repair to sprinkler system. Both homeowner and neighbor admitted to making the repair to their sprinkler line.". This issue was found to be unrelated to the work we completed in 2014, and was not present in the 10 months prior to the concern (specifically the remainder of the summer 2014).
