I have had a decent relationship with Done and they installed my hot water heater and handled things very well for me for several years. The other day I had my sewer line back up. The technician team they sent was interesting to say the least. One of them proceeded to pull some of the oldest scams in the book in this trade. Highlights: the old "my snake hook is stuck in your wall" routine, along with the "oh I might break my arm if I finish" game. Pressured me for immediate camera, although I knew I had tree roots, and then offered one estimate for 15K out to the street. Called a competitor, had the camera done, not only was the obstruction not there any longer but the roots were invasive but not immediately threatening. I had three different estimates for different options of varying expense (not one equalling 15K) AND could continue yearly snaking. The cast iron had minor chipping in one joint. In no way was the information given to me correct and this was unethical at best. Don't let anyone you care about get any sewer or line snaking work done by Done anymore. It's a real shame, too. Oh. I called to see if I could get the service review email sent to me because I had accidentally deleted it. The receptionist responded, "Your estimate? You wanted another copy of your estimate?" No thanks, Done. I'm done with you. You should be, too.
