The disposal installation does come with additional parts not included with just the garbage disposal, including the electrical connection (sold separately by the manufacturer), new basket strainer, and new drain piping under the sink. In addition to these job costs, we must also factor in other expenses to each job we perform. We are properly registered with the Secretary of State, licensed as legally required to perform this work by the state and city you reside in, maintain proper insurance to protect you, your home, and our employee while he is on your property ($1M liability, $1M workers comp - you are liable for any injury to a contractor if the company does not have this protection, and a $5M umbrella policy), provide competitive wages to our employees and have benefits so they are able to properly care for themselves and their families (health insurance, paid vacation, 401K with company match, etc.). We also have overhead expenses including office rent, vehicle insurance, gas, office staff, etc. to operate a reputable company and stay in business to honor our warranties. Other companies may forgo these expenditures (sometimes illegally) to lower their prices. We are not the least expensive option in Denver, but we are also far from the most expensive. We do appreciate feedback, and will be sure to evaluate the pricing for the work that was performed for you during your service.
