Way overpriced

Don't use these guys! Complete ripoff. They wanted to charge me over $500 for a simple job that would have taken the guy about ten minutes! Cut a pipe, replace a broken ball valve and solder the pipe back on--all at an easily accessable spot. $500??? Ridiculous. I went to home depot and bought all the parts and equipment--propane torch, ball valve, soldering kit--all for about $50 (and resuable.) And I watched a three minute video on how to solder copper pipe. Done.

The actual bid on this job was $425.00, which was NOT for just for replacement of the ball valve to the sprinkler system but fro the vacuum breaker for the sprinkler system as well. By only replacing the ball valve, which had frozen over the winter, and not the vacuum breaker, the customer will most likely experience additional problems during the watering season, possibly even property damage. Done Plumbing always recommends solving the whole problem and not taking shortcuts.
