I got ripped off

My pipes froze and I called the company to come out and they charged me to get the water going and fix one pipe over $500.00 and then told me that there were more pipes that needed to be fixed and it would be like $200.00 per pipe to fix. He couldn't tell me how many more were busted.
I called another plumber out and he said that there were 2 more pipes that needed to be replaced and told me I was WAY over charged... His prices were less than half of what I paid and he fixed all of the issues.

Customer called us, and the work was done on January 2nd, a Sunday and a holiday weekend. We were extemely busy, as it was a very cold weekend, & we responded within 2 hours from the time we received her call and spent just over 3 hours on the job. The work was done under a mobile home, which had piles of trash underneath it, making for a very difficult situation for our plumber. Additioanl breaks were not evident until the main break was repaired and the water turned back on. We gave the customer a written estimate before any work was performed, which she approved. She signed the invoice signifying she was satisfied with the quality of work and paid us. I don't know whether she could have gotten her "discount plumber" to respond on the day she needed service, and what his price would have been on a Sunday. But we solved the customer's problem when she needed us for the price we quoted. If she wasn't satisfied with the price when it was presented, we would have been on our way. We are fully licensed and insured, and are available when customers need us.
