My toilet bowl had been leaking for a few weeks and I noticed the ceiling in my family room had a water stain. It worsened the next week, so I planned to remove my toilet and replace the flange and plastic ring. Well, I shut off the valve and proceed to remove the hose from the tank. Ahhhh! The water would not stup gushing everywhere. I got the main water shut off, and the water stopped gushing. Turned out, the shut off valve was broken and wouldn't close. (FYI, I would not have known this if I turned the main water off first). Done came out within the hour and Aaron replaced the valve, installed new rings, and reset the bowl and tank. The tank is a little lopsided because of the new gasket he put in, so not happy with that, but I will call them again to do any other repairs as needed.
