I purchased a duplex property located in Saint Paul, MN from BUYPD in September of 2013, I live in Chicago. I did not know at the time this property was in poor condition. Renters Warehouse took over as the management company for my property and we were trying to get a tenant for the upper level. At that time I was assigned a leasing agent who had showings but no one was interested in renting the upper level.
It was not until Clovis Gray took over as leasing agent in August of 2014 that I was aware of just how bad the property showed. Clovis suggested what needed to be done to both units in order to get good tenants. The entire property needed the following:
1. Pest Control
2. Walls Plastered
3. Carpet Replaced
4. Deep Cleaning.
5. Furniture removed from outside
One unit needed a new bath tub with surround and the other unit needed new appliances. Vector services was hired to do most of the work. They did a great job and kept the cost to a minimum.
After the work was completed it took two showings before a tenant lease was signed. I want to thank Renters Warehouse, the maintenance team (Vector Services) and especially Clovis Gray. He was very patient and I could call him at any time if I had questions. He is a hard dedicated worker that gets results.
