Job done was not what I expected.

Technician was prompt for appt. Did not introduce himself to me. When I asked about moving furniture he replied that they normally don't do that, but he offered to help me move the furniture. What if I was a 90 year old woman? Would he expect her to help move? I told him the website said moving furniture was included in price. There was no post grooming done, nor any post cleaning inspection completed. Carpet did not dry in 2 hours as advertised. 14 hours later with multiple oscillating fans going, the room smelled like a wet mop. Took 24 hours for all areas of carpet to be dry, just like most companies. Not impressed with the company at all.

True Clean Carpet very much appreciates the time you took to submit a review of our service even though it was not the type we typically get, but for the most part I found it very accurate.

Thanks to your prompt review we were able to research this issue quickly and found that the extractor we were using in your home had a defect that caused your carpets to be wet for an unacceptable extended period of time. We talked to other customers on that route that day and found we had wet carpet issues. We have procedures in place to detect this type of problem and unfortunately they were not followed. We took appropriate action with the technician that performed the cleaning and believe this type of problem will not occur again. As you know I called you a couple of days after we had performed the cleaning and offered a $70 refund which you graciously accepted for the inconvenience you experienced.

Just to let you know if you had called us that day or the next we would have returned immediately to correct the problem.

We also apologize for any misunderstanding you may have had on our furniture moving policy. The website does state we do move small furniture such as chairs and one sofa at no additional cost, but that large pieces of furniture that cover the carpet are cleaned around and we do not move them. We also try to mention this at the time the job is scheduled.

Again we apologize for not providing the service that we promised and that you were expecting and should you choose to use our service again in the future we will gladly protect your rooms with scotchguard free and clean one room at no charge.
