Windows,siding and Gabel soffit extension
I hired Window Galaxy USA to replace 36 windows, install new siding over existing stucco, and extend the gable soffit on my home by 12 inches. I met with Greg on three separate occasions to discuss and finalize my project. I was assured that the color ‘Bone’ would be available for all trim, gutters, and siding. I also paid for a soffit gable extension. All of this is detailed in the contract, which makes their later actions even more concerning.
A few days before the work was set to start, I received a call from the owner, Zack, informing me that they do not have the gutters and trim in the ‘Bone’ color and that it doesn’t exist—Greg had apparently made a mistake. Zack also informed me that they don’t do framing, meaning the gable soffit extension I paid for is something they cannot provide. Zack admitted he was unsure why Greg would charge me for a service they do not offer.
It feels as though Greg took my $27,500 deposit under false pretenses, promising he could fulfill my requirements just to secure the payment. Furthermore, they failed to pull the necessary permits for the project, which could have resulted in significant issues for me had I not realized it before the work began.
Both Greg and Zack were dishonest throughout this process. They should be ashamed of their conduct and should refund my deposit immediately, given the misrepresentation, lack of integrity, and breach of contract.
