I used Finney Heating & Air Conditioning based off my son's recommendation. When he heard my experience and saw the poor work their serviceman performed on my vents and ducts, he said he also wouldn't be using them again.

The service that was supposed to be perform for me was vent and duct cleaning work, and some work on my air conditioning unit. The process that came to be was painful, and cost me more than just the inconvenience of having to reschedule, three, other services that were scheduled to work on my home during the same work week. It cost me an additional $1200, because I had to extend the rent on my previous home, because I was unable to keep to the schedule I had set.

There prices were pretty high at Finney Heating and Air Conditioning, but I was new in town, and needed the work done. I don't know how the serviceman's AC work went, it works at least, but it worked before. He did install a waterline for the condensation system, so that is why I at least gave him 2 stars.

The trouble started from the first work day. There was poor communication. I explained that it was very important to finish the work on a Saturday, because I was having painters come in on Monday. If I had known he wouldn't be able to complete the job on the day I scheduled, I would have went with another service entirely.

The house where the service was performed had been vacant for 6 or 7 years, and it's a large house, which meant lots of cleaning. Anyway, the serviceman shows up, and he is having some kind of domestic issue with his wife or girlfriend. He kept taking breaks and having extended cell phone conversations. I sat and observed, not very pleased with what was going on. He worked hard for about 2.5 hours, and then said he was going to start wrapping things up, and basically handed me my bill.

First I wanted to do a walk around. I went in the house, saw some vents hadn't been touched, and then saw the back room with vents pulled off and filthy dirt everywhere. I told him that he wasn't done, and he tells me he has to go, he was supposed to babysit and can't finish. I found that to be very unprofessional.

He tried to hand me the bill once more, but I told him I wouldn't pay until the work was done. After a little talk with his boss, he agreed that I could pay that invoice after the job was finished. I rescheduled for the coming Monday, and he still wasn't able to make it out until Tuesday. I am not happy. If you have a choice between Finney Heating & Air Conditioning and another company, go with the other company.
