Paul's Carpet & Floor did a phenomenal job! My being able to get them was true fate! This was my first time using them. I needed to replace carpeting on the stairs. I was doing some remodeling and knew I would need to replace the carpeting as it was over 30 years old. I had called a few places that said they do not do stairs. I was out driving and low and behold in front of me was a Paul's truck! So I wrote down the number and gave them a call. They said they could do stairs so I went to the showroom. Prior to going to the showroom Roger came out to take some measurements so that they can properly quote me once I was at the showroom. I was impressed with the showroom. It has tons of samples so you can see coloring and feel the fibers. When I said I was looking at carpeting for stairs they directed me to the section that is best suited for stairs but did not stop me from looking throughout the store. Once I had narrowed it down to a few choices Roger went through them with me and told me which ones would be better for the wear on stairs and looked at the design of the patterns I picked and went through what would work best for stairs. For instance, one of the patterns I looked at had lines through it and he said the lines would be difficult to match up and get straight. I brought three samples home to make my final decision. The installer came out to take more detailed measurements then we set up the installation. There was even enough left over for them to make two runners for me for the upstairs on the wood flooring. They did the binding on the runners and the non-slip backing on them. Everything turned out beautifully! The installer was prompt, polite and professional. He was respectful of my home and paid attention to detail. I like using smaller home town businesses and Paul's fits the bill! They were just tremendous to work with! If you need carpeting have absolutely no hesitation or reservations about going to Paul's Carpet & Floor! They are wonderful!
