David's Abbey Carpet & Floor

Would use them again! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

David's Abbey Carpet & Floor did a pretty good job for us. They installed a large amount of porcelain flooring in several rooms and also a glass tile backsplash in the kitchen. The installer had to come back and reclean the backsplash upon my request. It really should have been cleaned properly the first time. That's the only reason I didn't give them five stars. Also, I think the installer used a tile scoring cutter instead of a glass saw which didn't give the glass tile the exactly precise cuts I was expecting. The cut edges are mainly along the top which I barely noticed after the trim piece was installed. But I can still see some little uneven edges. One thing I learned from using David's Abbey Carpet & Floor is to buy my tile from someone who has their own installers. When I was dissatisfied with the finished installation, David's Abbey immediately sent the guy back to correct it. On a different project in my bathroom, using another company, I had a much different experience. The tile seller referred me to a subcontractor for the installation with no guarantees. That project turned into a much bigger ordeal when I had installation problems because the tile company said to call the subcontractor and the subcontractor wasn't very responsive. I think my job was the first one this particular installer ever did and it left me very dissatisfied. I'm still trying to clean up the mess from that. So, I'm very happy I chose David's Abbey for my kitchen and flooring project. It was a satisfactory experience overall, a good installation, and good follow-up. I'd hire them again!
