How often do you hear of an honest moving company? In my experience ... never ... until I found Betton Moving Company on the BBB website. William is the owner. As opposed to quoting an approximate estimate for my long distance move, William came to my home for an in-person estimate. The movers arrived on time the day of my move. If you are looking for a company who will rush your items out the door onto a truck, this is not your company. The movers carefully took their time wrapping and securing every item in my home prior to loading onto the truck. It was time consuming, but well worth the hours. My belongings were unloaded in the same professional manner. Although the weight of my move exceeded the estimate, I was not charged any additional fees. I paid the amount of the estimate only. After the movers had left, I discovered that the lifts to my Tempur-Pedic mattress were not working. Once I contacted William about the issue, he timely drove 340 miles round trip to resolve my issue. Within five minutes of his ETA, my Tempur-Pedic mattress lifts were working. I still to this day do not understand how they were not working and five minutes before William arrived at my home, they began working. Even after driving three hours to my home (six hours round trip), William was not upset or felt like he had made a wasted trip. He was there to make right any repair necessary. I appreciated the care and concern he took making sure I was a satisfied customer. After settling in to my new home, I found not one item damaged. We hear the word "unprecedented" overused nowadays. However, I consider William's honesty and reliability unprecedented for the moving industry. Thank you and much appreciated!
