Thank you for your comments. We appreciate feedback from our customers, it helps us to better ourselves and our service. However, we take great offense to your comment that we are utterly incompetent or a sleazy business. It is not true, unappreciated, and unfounded.
An onsite estimate was provided for the job you are referring to. The logistics and crews were scheduled to complete this job in one day. Prior to the job, our customer chose to cancel one of the crews. We give our customers as many options as possible so they can tailor make their move to meet their ever-changing, specific needs. By being fluid and as flexible as possible, it allows us to best work with and service our customers. The estimate from our onsite visit called for 2 crews at 12 to 14 hours per crew. By cancelling one of the scheduled crews, it caused the move to no​t​ be completed within the same day.
During the move on the original scheduled day, our customer was offered the option of the original, scheduled 2nd crew throughout the day. As the day progressed, our customer saw the need for the original, scheduled 2nd crew and agreed to have one sent out as it became available. We sent the original, scheduled 2nd crew when it became available at (2:00 pm). Still, not beginning the day with the original, scheduled 2 crews, it caused the move to not be completed within one day. To try and complete the job within one day, a 3rd crew was offered when it became available on the original day. The 3rd crew was declined for that afternoon and our customer chose to have a crew come the following day to complete the move when one became available. The next day, we sent a crew and completed the job. The estimate from our onsite was an estimated total of 24 to 28 hours. The total time of the actual job was 19.75 hours. This is less than the estimated amount. The job would have been completed in one day with the recommended number of crews.
We appreciate our customers and take great pride in our service to them. Your posted comment of “Motivated Movers has been moving my parents for TWO DAYS and still have not completed the job. I can't decide if it's just utter incompetence, or sleazy business (they charge by the hour). A terrible experience.” This is not true, unfounded, and unappreciated. The job came in under the estimate and the recommended number of crews would have completed this job in one day.
