Scammers not trust worthy

This company wrote estimates, went back to the property more than one time to increase their pricing on the original estimate which they agreed to for a much lower price. They did not honor their estimate and continue to increase pricing while onsite for items that were previously in thier estimate.

We asked if they can honour thier estimate multiple times and they refused.
We offered to pay for the materials If they keep their labor price is the same and they also refused.

This review simply isn’t right. Our plumber wrote an estimate to fix 7 leaks in the crawl space and a p-trap. The leaks were around the water heater area. We explained that there could be additional leaks hidden in the insulation. After we fixed the 7 leaks and re-pressurized the system, we found more leaks in the crawl space that had been hidden by insulation. Fixing the seven leaks made it so lots more water flowed out of the other holes. It turned out that there were lots of holes in these pipes due to a major rat infestation in the crawlspace of the home. The rats had really done a number on the pipes and chewed lots of holes. We explained that the customer needed to repipe the entire crawl space. These people are part of a lease-to-own business for people with bad credit and they really didn’t want to spend any extra money to fix things the right way. Even though our scope of work did not include fixing any and all leaks found on the property, this customer tried to hold us responsible for all this other unforeseen damage. Because they were so difficult we ended up charging probably 30% more money for the repairs and spending like 500% more time.
