Terrible experience. I was quoted a repair range, and told it would cost ~$900 to remove and evaluate the transmission to get the actual cost. I agreed to the evaluation fee based on the repair range I was given. The technician NEVER called me back when he said he would. This happened MULTIPLE times. When I finally got in contact with him, I was told it would be SIGNIFICANTLY more to actually repair my transmission. When I said I did not want the unit repaired because the price went up, the $900 evaluation fee also went up another $300. This was a very expensive lesson. And the lesson I learned was to NEVER use AAMCO again!
