Treat their employees horribly

As the spouse of a current employee I find their business practices deplorable. My spouse puts their heart and soul into this job and their immediate supervisor is never happy with anything. They are always blaming the employees for not being able to cram 70 hours of work into a 40 hour work week. They are chronically understaffed and abusive to the employees they do have. And then they wonder why their turnover rate is so high. They expect my spouse to work off the clock to finish paperwork because they can't find office time for it to be finished.

I can only assume that the consumers are not receiving the care and attention they deserve with the understaffing and overworking of their employees. But at least the CEO makes $300k a year. 10-15 times what the people doing the real work get paid.
